Wow ladies, I just finished watching the video session 2 (the one that stopped in the middle on Wednesday night !... again I apologize for that). Anyway, can't wait for you to see the end. Just a recap, Beth reminded us that "Meanness has a history." Didn't you love learning the history of Mordecai and Haman and their descendants. The story makes so much more sense now doesn't it? What about our history? What is behind "our meanness?" What is in our past that makes us justify being "mean." "Meanness perceives a threat." We must learn to identify the threat. What are we most likely to measure ourselves against? Who/what is our rival and how much time are we wasting on this part of our lives. God showed me something during this video that I was wasting way too much time on. Please pray that I'll "let it go." Remember that if you and God are fighting for the same thing, then you will win! "Meanness is catching like a virus." We can pass it down from generation to generation (bet you can name families this is happened to) and we can pass it around and around from person to person. And last and thank goodness... "Meanness is Curable." We really can get over it. Leave your "Hamans" to God. Repay evil for good (that is so hard to do sometimes isn't it? Love your Haman until their heart sears with conviction and they are able to see Jesus in the light of your eyes.
Love and prayers to you all,
DB
