From Orphan to Queen

When I got home Monday evening, my seven-year-old daughter, Emmie, was still awake. As I put her back to bed, she asked me what I learned that night. I told her that I learned something great. Esther started out as an orphan, was adopted, and God eventually made her queen of Persia. She thought that was great! We adopted Emmie from Russia when she was two. I love seeing stories in God's Word of people who are adopted, but yet God chooses them and has a great destiny for them. After all, we're all adopted by our heavenly Father, aren't we?
